CURRICULUM

The Department of Japanese aims to foster students with a comprehensive, accurate understanding of Japanese language and culture, who can communicate that understanding effectively. Overseas students interested in Japan are welcomed, and we also send our own students abroad. We support study abroad through use of the semester system and a flexible curriculum. The introduction of course system enables students aiming to be teachers of Japanese or interpreters to acquire an education and training tailored appropriately to their needs.
